What would you say to a skeptic who asks, “What makes your religion any different?” What do you say to the skeptic who says science has disproved the Bible? Over 30% of young people identify as “unaffiliated.” Bill Foster, author of Meet the Skeptic, says before you give an answer ask a question, “How has science disproved the Bible?” “What are the contradictions in the Bible?” Words like, “in Christ,” or “inspired by God,” have different meanings for skeptics. Never qualify a Biblical verse with “for me,” which renders the scripture subjective. Why can’t a person get to heaven by being good? What’s the evidence for belief in God?
